La Vernia ISD Students Earn Scholarships

High school students who compete at the UIL State tournament in either academics or speech and debate are eligible to apply for scholarships.

Debate Students Receive TILF Awards

Three La Vernia graduates have earned Texas Interscholastic League Foundation (TILF) scholarships! Justin Goosman (left) has received a $500 per semester scholarship, which is renewable for up to $4,000. Reece Smith (middle) has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Kolban Mills’ scholarship is worth $2,000.
