Friendswood ISD visits seniors in the community! The district hosted visitors from Little Mustangs Preschool Academy and third graders at the weekly Friday morning Mustang Senior meeting.
Students hung out with the seniors and showed them around their Dreambox Learning software. Both the preschoolers and third graders shared with the seniors their recent school assignments to show what they’ve been working on. Friendswood ISD has provided Dreambox to students in the district where they have been excelling in math and reading.
The learning software has shown that students have excelled 1.58 grade levels in math and 2.5 years of growth in reading skills overtime. Through the math section they learn to be confident and competent with their skills. For reading, Dreambox helps students work on silent reading, comprehension, and vocabulary.
When Friendswood ISD visits seniors in the community, the students and older Mustangs benefit!
