The annual pilgrimage of students from Vejen Business College (VBC), located in Denmark, continued this morning as approximately 65 students and four chaperones paid a visit to Byron P. Steele High School. VBC students are roughly the equivalent of high school seniors who are going through the business program at the school.

Visitors of Schertz-Cibilo-Universal City ISD since 2015, (with a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic), VBC students enjoyed a series of activities at Steele high school. They started with a breakfast courtesy of the Steele Culinary Arts program, followed by a tour of Steele HS, performances from the drumline, cheer and dance teams, and ending with a Q&A session hosted by fellow students in the auditorium. VBC students finished off their visit with a trip to Austin to watch the Knights varsity football team play against Lake Travis.

Congrats to the Culinary Arts program and Principal Jana Cervantes for opening the doors again and engaging to these visiting students.
