Freeport Elementary Students Star in Juicebox Jukebox Video

Brazosport ISD

The students at Brazosport ISD’s Freeport Elementary School often start their classes by singing along to Juicebox Jukebox You Tube videos.  Recently, Bradley James Skistimas, the Dallas-based songwriter and musician behind the popular videos, visited the school and allowed the students to participate in making the music video to “The Opposite Song.”

Freeport Elementary’s librarian and media specialist, Cindy Pierson McCarty, posted a video on You Tube of her students singing Skistimas’ song “Kindness,” and he knew he wanted to meet them in person.

McCarty stated that Freeport Elementary loves Skistimas’ music because he focuses on character qualities that are important to introduce to young children, including kindness, sharing and caring.
