Highlights

The Friendswood Independent School District was established in 1948 and covers 15 square miles. Fully accredited by the Texas Agency, the district’s curriculum emphasizes academic skills, authentic learning experiences and building relationships.

FISD has six campuses: one PreK-2, one K-3, two 3-5 intermediate campuses, one 6-8 junior high and one 9-12 high school.

FISD’s philosophy is based on an active partnership between parents, the community and the schools and a commitment to the realization of each and every student’s potential.
