Public Schools Celebrate Library Week

Our districts observed Library Week by honoring school librarians and engaging in library activities!

Clear Creek ISD librarian
Debbie Klein has spent nearly three decades with Clear Creek ISD. She’s seen her library at Ward Elementary evolve from containing only books, to adding gadgets and games for Maker Space.
edgewood isd library week
A new Little Library has found a forever home at Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary School in Edgewood ISD. Throughout the school year and into the summer, SA YES will continue to supply the library with free books and educational activities.
Northside ISD reading

Northside ISD’s Maker Space Stations foster collaboration, questioning, & curiosity among students, as well as increasing fine motor skills, manipulation of 3D objects, & more, while some students “speed date” books and take home a few that they are excited to read!
