Slam Dunk For Life is a Fort Sam Houston ISD summer basketball camp at Fort Sam Houston Elementary School. The basketball camp was hosted by the Robert G. Cole High School basketball team, and they had over 60 Fort Sam Houston elementary students atten
During the 3-day camp, students at Fort Sam Houston were taught the basics of basketball and played games with other students. Students were taught a new skill of basketball every day, such as how to play a basketball game, how to shoot, dribble, etc.
Then, on the final day, they had multiple guest speakers visit with the children. They even had a guest appearance by Spurs player Keldon Johnson, who gave a heartfelt speech for the students.
