Keating Toyota donated a 2020 Toyota Corrola to the JB Hensler Automotive Technology program. The new car will allow students to work with newer technologies to help them be certified and ready to work professional Toyota dealerships like Keating.
Keating Toyota donated a 2020 Toyota Corolla to the JB Hensler Automotive Technology program. Iowa Colony High School joined the celebration with their drumline as they played for the donation of the Corolla. GST Workforce Development Manager, Toby Gustavus and Keating Toyota Service Drive Director, Lisa Aguilar presented the car keys stating, “This is truly a win-win for everybody.” and “We are very proud to be be able to donate this vehicle, give them something that they tangibly can hold, feel, touch, get that work experience so when they come here they are already certified, ready to go, they are ready to serve the community.”
These donations are critical as materials cost a lot of money and are not easily accessible. Keating has donated motors, cars and new technology for students to work and learn on. Students in the program are excited about the opportunity to learn with hands on experience from these donations and will become automotive technicians in their futures!
