Mateo Lopez, Northside ISD student and world’s youngest mariachi, performed a duet with Kelly Clarkson on NBC’s, “The Kelly Clarkson Show!”
The two sang “A Mi Manera,” a Spanish cover of the ever popular, “My Way,” by Frank Sinatra, in honor of World Mariachi Day.
Mateo Lopez is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s youngest mariachi, and has held the title since his first performance in 2019 when he was just four years old.
Mateo has been on a number of TV programs, and even appeared alongside Will Smith in a 2022 Super Bowl ad! He continues to perform and dreams of becoming the best mariachi ever.
We can’t wait to see where this Northside ISD student will go!
