Judson ISD’s Judson High School sent its JROTC members to the Converse Animal Shelter. These students volunteered their morning to help clean shelters, move mulch for dog runs, and walk dogs. The shelter is across the street from the school, a Non-profit, No-kill Animal Shelter Since open since 1982.
This is not the only event constructed by the JROTC department that demonstrates the pillar of service. Other September events included a parent support night, hosting a picnic, and even running a fundraiser at Raising Cane’s. These students have ample space to learn about how to connect with other students, their families, and their community
