Alamo Heights ISD offers a rocketry program called Seraph, and they recently unveiled their new rocket.
The Alamo Heights High School graduates have spent countless hours and hard work building an efficient rocket. These students had to work on designing, building, and problem-solving to create a functioning rocket. The students even gave a special thanks on the rocket tail for now retired instructor Mr. Lang, which reads, “Thank you! Mr. Lang for all your dedication and sacrifice.”
They will soon launch their rocket in the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. They are one of three teams that have launch dates and the only team to manufacture their own rocket.
