Lakeview Elementary in Little Elm ISD celebrated National Coding Week by putting their engineering skills to the test. Students were tasked with designing a strong, stable, and efficient bridge that spans an 18-inch gap and holds weight using limited materials.
National Coding Week is dedicated to inspiring individuals of all ages to learn and embrace coding skills. This year’s theme was centered around Artificial Intelligence (AI) which focused on its growing significance in various sectors, providing a broader understanding of the cutting-edge technology.
This exciting project serves to promote the idea that coding is not just for tech professionals, but is a valuable skill that can benefit everyone in their personal and professional lives. Coding Week encourages schools, businesses, libraries, and individuals to inspire each other and share their skills.
