Randolph Field ISD students spent a recent Saturday participating in an SAT Prep Boot Camp made possible through RFISD’s DoDEA STEM grants.
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) works to educate our military family children and share resources with public schools that educate military-connected students. DoDEA grant programs support research-based strategies to raise student achievement levels and help children with challenges they may face due to being in a military family. Since the creation of the grants, data shows an improvement in students’ achievements, more opportunities for social and emotional support, and effective professional development for the teachers. Randolph Field ISD is one of the public school districts that benefit from the DoDEA STEM grants, and they are fortunate to be able to offer their students extra educational support like these SAT prep classes.
