Every year, Northside ISD Librarians collect gently used books throughout the school year while generous sponsors donate books. Over 10,000 books each year are donated to over 1000 families in the community that cannot afford them.
The high school students at Brennan High School took their time to do the immense work of packing over 1,000 books for the event. The books are then distributed to three Northside campuses that rally for the annual Great Book Giveaway in the spring.
