East Central ISD’s Heritage Middle School hosted Career Week last week in recognition of CTE Month.
ECISD teachers invited different friends and family members to share their experiences with students. Career week speakers shared their pathways to their careers.
Ms. Salazar, a 6th Grade Math Teacher at HMS, shared her passion for sewing and the path to starting her own business with her students.
Heritage Middle School was also honored to have a Hurricane alumnus, Annie Miller, come back and share her path and how her outstanding work ethic has led to her continuous advancement.
Mr. Toscano, Superintendent of ECISD, spoke to Miss Moore’s classes about his many jobs where “doing his best work” daily led to his many promotions. Mr. Toscano also reminded students to “Win The Day.”
