East Central ISD students learn valuable skills from local groups.
The 4th and 5th grade Oak Crest Elementary Stingers in East Central ISD learned what it means to just BEE themselves! With the help of Girls Inc. of San Antonio and 100 Black Men of San Antonio, students learned what it means to be confident, have self-efficacy, and find their voices.
100 Black Men of SA aim to empower children to be leaders through the development of their learning environments to lead their own destinies.
Girls Inc. focuses on helping girls rise up through opportunities for local leadership and programming.
OC Stingers will continue these groups once a month.
