What is the Adopt-a-School Program?
CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources in order to strengthen and enrich education for students. Successful adoption leads to positive outcomes for the organizations and business partners. They gain satisfaction from serving as a role model to students through the Mentor Program, increased knowledge of public education, and gratification from volunteering as a Global Volunteer by helping with a school carnival, being a Bus Buddy, or reading to a class.
