La Vernia high school students in Child Guidance practice real-world techniques in La Vernia Elementary schools.
Child guidance students have been planning and facilitating lessons on various subjects during their internships. The assignment was to design a developmentally appropriate learning center for the students they have been interning with for several weeks. Students were able to gain more first hand experience in teaching and working with young children.
