Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD observed National School Custodian day to express their collective thanks for the invaluable work these workers do to keep their campuses clean, and safe.

Some campuses honored their custodians with cake, food, and cards, indicative of the gratitude felt for the work they do. Every custodian in the district also received a goodie bag from the Maintenance Department.

Custodians play an important role in keeping campuses well-maintained, cleaning classrooms, hallways and common areas, as well as maintaining the school grounds. They also assist in school safety by conducting regular inspections, ensuring that fire exits are clear, and reporting any potential problems.
