Each year, all Alief ISD 6th grade students attend JABizTown, where learning leaps off the pages and into the real world. BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit.
In this simulated town, students have the opportunity to run businesses, write checks, manage a restaurant, and even vote for the mayor. What a great day of hands-on learning and real-world connections!
Find out more about the great work Alief ISD and other school districts are doing to build strong career skills for our students at our CTE resource page!
