Ross Middle School in Northside ISD held a pep rally that not only kicked off the year, but celebrated the launch of their 13th annual Block Walk. Ross Middle School and its feeder elementaries were gathered in the gym to start the school year with energy and flair!
Principals, NISD Superintendent Dr. John Craft, and hundreds of teachers joined forces to head on the streets and visit as many families as possible before the first day of school on August 19.
The purpose of the Block Walk is to build community engagement and promote school events or programs. Students get the chance to engage with their local environment and practice healthy habits before the school year begins.
