Student members of the Azle ISD’s C.O.O.L. (College Offers Opportunities for Life) program at Azle High School recently embarked on an informative college tour at Tarleton State University.
Funded by the Azle Education Foundation, the C.O.O.L. program is dedicated to preparing students for higher education by providing essential resources and support. The program’s advisor plays a crucial role in this process by encouraging students, helping them set academic goals, and enhancing their decision-making skills, ensuring they are well-equipped for college life.
The mission of the C.O.O.L. Advisor Program is to establish a full-time college advisor on the Azle High School campus, dedicated to guiding students through the enrollment process and ensuring their successful graduation from colleges and universities. By fostering a college-going atmosphere within the district and community, the program aims to increase student enrollment and retention in higher education. Through advocacy and support, the C.O.O.L. program empowers students to make informed choices about their educational futures, ultimately inspiring them to pursue their academic and career aspirations in Azle ISD.
