Commissioner Lesley Briones celebrated the artistic achievements of 12 exceptional Alief ISD students, whose artwork will be displayed on buses serving #HCPrecinct4, the Harris County Precinct.
The recognition ceremony highlighted the students’ creativity and talent, providing them with a unique opportunity to showcase their work to the community. The buses are not just modes of transportation; they play a vital role in supporting local residents, especially seniors, and serve as mobile warming and cooling centers during extreme weather.
The initiative aims to beautify the community while promoting the importance of the students’ contributions. By featuring their artwork on public buses, the program reinforces the connection between art and community service, inspiring others to recognize the value of creativity in making a positive impact.
Commissioner Briones expressed her pride in the students, emphasizing how their artistic expressions will bring joy and inspiration to those who see them as they travel throughout the precinct.
