Northside ISD

Full-day Pre-K is offered at 36 campus sites and half-day Pre-K at an additional 35 sites for qualifying students. A limited number of tuition-based Pre-K slots are also available.

Twenty-one elementary schools now have STEM Labs which serve as an enrichment option for students much like physical education, music, and art.

The district’s first middle school magnet program, Jones Magnet School, opened in August 2020 with a STEM-focused curriculum. A second middle school magnet school focuses on  global communication, information technology, and cybersecurity.

Students can apply to attend one of six specialized high school magnet programs: Communications Arts High School, Construction Careers Academy, Health Careers High School, Jay Science & Engineering Academy, Marshall Law & Medical Services Magnet School, and the Northside School of Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (NSITE).

An Agricultural Magnet School is located at O’Connor High School.
